Large salt flats
Daily full-day excursion
Full day. Departure from Salta to the town of Tastil, then arrive at San Antonio de los Cobres. We take a break for lunch before crossing Route 40 to reach the Salinas Grandes, right on the border between Salta and Jujuy. We then begin the descent down Cuesta de Lipán, where condors are often spotted. We arrive at the typical town of Purmamarca and its Cerro de los Siete Colores (Chill of Seven Colors). We return to Salta via the highway.
