Big circuit
The Circuito Grande in Bariloche is a full-day excursion covering approximately 240 km, offering varied landscapes of forest, steppe, and lakes, as well as visits to two towns: Villa La Angostura and Villa Traful. Tronador Hill and Black Glacier

We depart from the city of Bariloche along National Route 40, bordering Lake Gutiérrez and crossing the Pilmaiquén River and Melgarejo Stream. Later, we will follow the shores of Lake Mascardi until we take the road to Tronador Hill. Along the way, we will cross the Black Beach of Lake Mascardi, the Isla Corazón viewpoint, and the bridge over the Blanco Stream and the Upper Manso River until we reach Pampa Linda, a place with a campsite with supplies and an inn. After passing through a shady forest and almost at the end of the road, we arrive at the Río Manso glacier, commonly known as the Black Glacier. The tour ends further ahead at the foot of Tronador Hill, where you can hike through Devil's Throat and see several melting waterfalls.

The excursion begins with hotel pickup at the Estancia 25 de Mayo headquarters. At the estancia headquarters, you'll receive a brief but essential technical briefing. Equipped with helmets and gaiters, you'll be ready for the exciting horseback ride. We begin the ride through the impressive El Calafate Creek Canyon. Cross streams and marvel at geological formations that tell stories of millions of years. After an hour and a half of riding, you'll arrive at the charming Cueva del Arroyo (Stream Cave). Here, the gauchos will welcome you with a country-style lunch. After lunch, return to the hotel.
